Have you ever spent lots of time and money on something and it turns out just aweful? That happened when I tried to make a Dark Magician Girl hologram! The good news is that the rest of the holograms are looking good.
Me and a friend went to Akihabara (electric town Japan), where every nerd, geek and antisocial weirdo can have a good time looking at all the cool toys & electronics there. I brought my DMG costume there and hired a girl to be a model for a few minutes to turn into a hologram, as well as bought some more parts for hologram prototypes.
The 2nd half of the video shows most of the holograms. Here is a link to the newsletter that you want as well click here to subscribe and get the best updates on holograms!

when r u planning to release it??
no dates yet??
and one thing also.. how do you plan to do the field spell animation??
that’s all and wish you luck on this project.. this is sure to be a hit when it turns out right

Plan to release the DD early next year. The hologram system should be out shortly after. I send out regular updates through the newsletter if you want to be notified immediately when they come out.

The DD will be separate from the holograms yes. Which I think will make those who just want to build a duel disk happier. Since the Duel Disk is not official from Konami I won’t be selling it. Then those who are really into it can go a step further and attach it with the hologram part shortly after.

but if u are not going to sell it.. does it mean that we must build our own DD and hook it up to the hologram system?
one more question..
is it difficult to attach the DD to the hologram system?
tnx..

just a suggestion but if u get a fully working model on this u should present it to konami industries . they may mass produce this and that would make serious $$ signs in all their eyes . they wouldnt say no haha
[Reply]
U can sell it if u just introduce it as a new kind of gaming system think about it there’s not just 1 game system bcuz of a company already having a system that they created that plays games that they have the rights to n besides u can talk about it as not just a specific system for 1 game it’d b a system that can play any card game there4 konami couldn’t do anything if their players just happen to buy a new gaming system n they choose to play their card game on it n if they had a problem with the way it matches the card to the system u can just have the system scan it n match the card online n project the image that’s matched up online they wouldn’t b able to do anything bcuz the Internet is open to every1 so make it with the hollowgram projecting system n sell it I’ll buy 1 when it’s done n hits stores n when ur rich u can thank me Look me up on YouTube vamp2100

second one:
we must build or buy our own DD?

You will be able to build one, I will give you step by step instructions and parts. The price will have a few things that are necessary to make it work then you can go as high or low as you want after that as it allows a large amount of customization on the design.

I have a lot of questions actually, because I really want to build my own holographic platform
1) would it be easier to build a duel ring/box instead of going straight to the duel disk?
2) If it is possible then could it be done with having cameras and projectors underneath each tile projecting a cropped image of the monster from the card?
3)Could previous videos from the show be used in order to create the movement software for a specific monster such as the dark magician?
4)could glass be used to keep the holograms in a controlled area and not appear with a bad image?
5) Could the two players stand areas have wifi and bluetooth capability in order to communicate with each other in order to determine the end of each person’s turn?
Sorry for all the questions just wanna know if any of this is possible because it seems like it would be easier for someone like me to create a duel ring within a controlled area and a better power supply than for me to try to incorporate a projector into a duel disk, create a faster processor, a long lasting battery, and not make it unbearably heavy to carry around. Thank any answers are greatly appreciated.

The ring/box would be easier then going straight to the disk. I don’t think it would take as much time as them either, and the rings make it so only one person needs the ring instead of both needing the disks.
[Reply]
we can associate konami and a hologram asociation.
to reconize cards we can download their card codes in a memorie card that we put in the duel disk. And we can do the same thing if we change cards.

Do you mind me asking why you have become so skeptical in Christian’s ability to make these holograms? You can hate whoever you want for whatever reason(s). But Yugioh is something that has been apart of your life and mine. I grew up sneaking Yugioh cards because my folks thought the game was evil. I’ll be 20 years old this October and I am saving up my pennies for a tattoo of the Dark Magician(To the left of my Triforce tattoo). I refuse to grow up. xD
I can only imagine that this project is a time consuming process and he has a job as well as chilling with friends and family. Time is a b!tch to everyone.

1)real hologram duel monsters its a very expensive technology
2)the government dont care about this shit which mean’s they dont want this to happend
3)i really hope that you are a millionaire, because if this story will succeed (which not, no matter how much years will past) you will need a lot of money to buy everything
and 4) do you really think that one person can do big project like this on is own, if you do then you dont understand a lot of things sir.
let’s face it, its not goona happend this all project, so just forget it like i goona do.

Hey, Dvir.
I only asked out of curiosity- I hope I didn’t come off sounding rude. I am not sure if you read Christian’s ebook. I downloaded it because it was free(if it’s free, it’s for me lol). The book was short and explained all the different kinds of holograms and how they are made. It’s not very detailed and I’m glad it was free ha-ha.
I’ll tell you another thing, these holograms aren’t as glamorous as Kaiba Corp’s Technology. I do, however, see potential for much improvement. Whether it’s Christian or a higher budget corporation, I can see advanced holograms being used in the next 50-100 years. Maybe sooner.
Take care.

So I will be the first to come out and say it, which you know you will come back to read it. Please shut up and go do something else instead of wasting a man’s time who is working hard and do something constructive unlike yourself.

do yourself a favor and think more then twice, when you writing something insult to people that you don’t know, because you get to think that you understand these people but in the end you don’t understand a shit of theme, so shut your fucking and stupid mouth, because holograms its something to me very height, means that I would be more then happy to build or at least try to build hologram duel disk, but expensive technology like this I can even buy its expensive so much., but who said that I own you explanations because I don’t!
Also you wrote that I am disturbing people, well if some one have problem with me then he invited to come and say it, but you stay out of this and please don’t act like you are some king or something because you are not, like you wrote you are some gay, who think himself .

hello
… ur program is taking quite awile which is understandable this kinda technology hasnt really been released 2 the public if it accually exists so realistically working on the basis of what we have a card scanner that incorporates bar-codes a good start now u would also need 2 fit a hard drive which isnt 2 hard considering i pods r fairly small and can go up to 160 gigabytes hmmm as for projecting a 3d image hmmmm well that could be done on a tarp or dry ice smoke like the other guy said cuz all it is an infered image but 2 make it 3 d would take multiple projectors projecting several images at a time in a fix location if this is accually possible and im not saying it isnt can u get back 2 me so i can verify this isnt a joke some guy made on the net cuz if it is real more power 2 yah
names joey i”m a big yugioh fan i have been playing the card game from 1 month since it came out i really wanna c if this is possible i always though it would be easier 2 make a duel disk that could read cards and be hooked up 2 a tv 2 show ur cards kinda like a duel terminal which wasn’t released in Canada

Hey Neotrix
I saw some videos but at some point I got lost.
Also it looks very complicated, and I think that lessons about holograms I can’t take from the internet I need to learn it face to face.
But seriously I think that I goona forget all this and leave for the experts the job and I continue with my business and believe me I have a lot of theme.
Anyway take care and good luck if you try to build your first hologram.
Apologies to all for not responding to the comments, have been extremely busy (work for the military overseas and didn’t realize I turned off comment notifications).

i have an idea
what if you put on every card a sticker with a code and the duel disk must recognise that and then the hologram will come
[Reply]
Seems like a good idea, but she begins by talking about proposals and then switches her terminology to “report” for the remainder of the clip. Proposals and reports are, of course, very different writing genres and so this may end up confusing people.
[Reply]
alot of people have been saying that making a D-gazer would make things easier like in some 3ds games were you see a monster through the screen on a real table instead of having a projection coming from the duel disk and moving evey time your arm moves and some people have been saying they would like the duel disk to be small and mor protible like in yugioh zexal
then again i dont know much about tech so…
[Reply]
Hay christian I was curious I’ve been following your work on the DD for only afew a weeks but u have intreged me I just wanted to say too things, 1. If u can get one working (hologram, systems etc.) Will you built the duel platforms from series 1, and secondly roughly how long do you think it will take now? I saw a film for the KC stadium on Utube , can u not sync that hologram system with ur ideas for the DD?
